Problems using export function
I am having problems with the "File..Export" function in build
751.
I am trying to export a certain credit card account to tab
delimited format so I can import it into excel.
On the export page, I specifically select only the credit card
account I want, yet when I run the export I find there are
transactions from other accounts.
Am I doing something wrong or is the export function broken?

Larry
I am practicing with reports at present so I checked this.
If I use the export method then I get the same result. However if I use Search report and select the account required and the period - say year to date - Then copy to clipboard and paste in the spreadsheet with tab delimited, it reports only the individual account.
Regards
Neville

Yes, it appears I can accomplish what I want using the Report function, so the problem at hand is solved.
Nevertheless, it does appear that the File...Export function may be broken.

Still a problem with export. Export work fine with qif but when output is tab then it ignores the selected account.
Any chance of getting this fixed?

This ticket is not yet scheduled to be fixed. I have increased the priority on the ticket.
In the mean tie you should be able to run a report and click "save" on the report and set the format to "comma delimited".
