Quick Transaction Entry

If I enter the first three letters into the search box after clicking on "New Transaction" I get the main screen full of transactions starting with the three letters of the query, but no New Transaction box from which I can either edit or record the new transaction.

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

I believe you need to enter at a minimum a number and the start of a description for the quick transaction entry panel to show.
