Expenses graph has old descriptions
When I import transaction data I often overwrite the description in the import file with something more readable and/or meaningful. In the expense graph widget on the home screen the original ugly imported description is still shown. I can fix this by clicking the arrow next to each item in the graph to go to the corresponding registry entry, editing and saving it without changing anything fixes the problem in the widget.
Note that I have to locate these transactions using the expenses graph, as it's only there I can see the old ugly text. When looking directly at the underlying registers, everything looks fine.
So for every expense, it takes several mouse-clicks/keyboard presses to correct each one. For each correction I have to drill down to the appropriate part of the expenses graph, then click the arrow to go to the register, edit and save the transaction without changing it, then go back to the graph widget and drill down several levels again to locate the next transaction...
I'm having this problem in 2014, however it still exists in 2015 build 1218, which I installed then uninstalled this morning.

I am not able to reproduce this problem with the current latest preview version of MD2015. Build 1258. Are you still have this problem?

I installed 1258 in a VM to quickly test, the problem is still there.
This is what I did:
1. Install Windows 64-bit version downloaded from preview page, checked
version is 1258.
2. Created default set of accounts on first start-up
3. Imported attached file to current account
4. Assigned random categories to transactions and edited the
descriptions so that for example "Amazon xyz" became just "Amazon"
5. Go to widget on home page, select past 365 days, select a category, and
the descriptions are the original ones before editing.
As an aside, I could only see 4 out of 12 transactions listed in the widget
at all, not sure why, but as that's not the issue I didn't try to get to
the bottom of it.
If it makes and difference the VM I happened to use was running Windows
Server 2008 R2 enterprise, probably without most updates and service packs.

Having done some more experimenting with build 1258, and right-clicking on
the transactions in the account register to view transaction details, my
conclusion is:-
1. The account register displays the contents of "Desc"
2. The widget displays the contents of "o.desc"
3. Simple reconciliation (change the description and click confirm) only
changes the content of "Desc"
4. The second time you edit the transaction the contents of "o.desc" change
to match "Desc". After that widget displays the changed descriptions.

This problem still exists in Moneydance 2017. For the transaction details below, it appears that "0.desc" is being displayed, instead of "desc", the latter being what one sees in the register.

I hope no-one minds me re-opening this...
... it surely must be a bug if the widget displays something different to the register as the transaction description. I've checked again, and it definitely looks like the widget is displaying "0.desc:" as opposed to the register "desc:", in the transaction details. Maybe the fix is simple as deleting two characters in some code somewhere?
