Problem with 1 memorized transaction

I created a memorized transaction for my paycheck. It's paid every other week. I added the paycheck transcations with all the splits, then i memorized it by selecting the weekly tab, every other week on Thursday. There is no end date to this transaction.

After saving the memorized transaction I only see it once a month on the calendar, but not every other week.

I deleted the memorized transaction and created it again but again, it's on the calendar once a month.

I have other weekly, and monthly transaction that are displayed correctly on the calendar, just not my paycheck.

    Hi

There is no every other week option on the weekly tab. I imagine you have selected "every second" Thursday of the month. Which is not the same as every other Thursday.

To get a transaction to happen every two weeks go to the daily tab and select every 14 days.

Sorry about that, the selection I made is

    Every second...

I also had selected to automatically add it to the register 6 days prior

I did not sort it out. I saw that I can select the daily tab but the weekly tab with selection every second... should work the same ways but it does not.

I understand the problem. Initially I thought after selecting the weekly tab then every second week it would be the same as every other week. The way it currently works I would expect to be on the monthly tab, execute every second week of a month.

I changed my transaction to use the daily tab with every 14 days. The calendar is updated correctly.

    Gerd,

I'm glad to here your calendar is updated correctly. I personally use the "daily" tab often, such as for a bill which I only need to pay every 2 years (730 days). Good luck with your reminder, and please let me know if I can be of further assistance,
