2 accounts with different ID/pwd at the same bank

Is it possible to setup 2 online accounts to the same bank that uses different userid's and passwords?

For example, I have been downloading my transactions into MD since the first day. My daughter has recently opened an account at the same bank but she has a totally different account number, online username, and password.

When I try to set this up MD seems to want to use the same info for both accounts. I can get to account 1 and download transactions but when I try to download account 2 I get an invalid user/pass.

Is this a known limitation.

    Hi Mike,
Setting up two accounts at the same financial institution IS possible in Moneydance.
The problem you are describing sounds like your accounts are not mapped properlly
The following was posted by forum member Oilcan. Replace E-Trade with your accounts.
    Begin Copy.
Your accounts are not mapped properly (in other words, one E*Trade account is pointing to each of your Moneydance accounts).

Disable the Online Set-up for the three problem accounts. Then you will need to re-enable them. Once you have entered your ID and Password click Ok and wait (do not click next). You need to see a window that will display - "Please choose the account you wish to you" - which are your E*Trade accounts listed in a drop down list. If you bypass this window - your Moneydance Account will map to the first account on this list. Sometimes you will need to just wait for this window to pop-up as it can take several seconds. If you click next you will likely bypass this important window. Believe me I am speaking from experience.

    Oilcan
    End Copy.
Let us know how it works out. OK?

    Mike,

Kevin's advice is perfect, and I've attached a screenshot of the "Please choose account" screenshot so you can see it firsthand. Good luck, and as Kevin said do let us know how it goes!

Thanks for the info. I will test this as soon as I can but it may be a
few days before I can do so.

Yes that seems to have worked. I did notice that when I tried to setup
the new online accounts when I selected my credit union that it gave me
an HTTP error when selecting from the dropdown list. Therefore I clicked
the 'new connection' option to select the credit union for each account
    and it is all working.

    Thanks for the help.
