How can I produce an Income and Expense report (detailed or otherwise) for a single account. I have 6 accounts on Moneydance and need to produce reports for individual accounts?

Open either report from the Side Bar by clicking on it once. The report should show up in the main window. Running along the top of the report to the right are a series of buttons starting with Edit. Click the Edit button. A dialog box will open where you can select the Date you want to run the report and then Accounts. To the far right of the Accounts field you'll see a Select button. Click that button and you can pick a specific account that you would like to run the report for.

Still can't make it one account only!

What version of MD are you using? I'm using MD2010r3 (751) and I'm able to select just my checking account and see all the transactions for just that account. Is that what you are trying to do? Or are you trying to view an individual category (like Taxes)?

You can update to 751 by adding and running the Moneydance Updater extension (Extensions > Add> Moneydance Updater) or from http://moneydance.com/other by selecting the version for your OS. Then run the report and you will see the option to select by Acct. Make a backup of your data file before you update just to be safe.
