I am a new user and am trying to acclimate myself to your software. I entered 11 transactions and wanted to generate and income and expense chart. When I went to do so it said that there is nothing to graph. How do i get this chart to present that information?
Also, do you have telephone support if you have a license?
Thanks.

    Hello Ann,

I'm afraid that we don't offer phone support, but I would be happy to answer your questions via this method.

First, with these transactions that you have added, have you assigned them an income or expense category? If you haven't, or if they are different types of transactions such as transfers between accounts, they wouldn't show up in the Income and Expense graph or reports, because Moneydance would not interpret them as an income or expense transaction.

Another thing to check would be to make sure that the settings for the graph and reports (which you can reach by clicking on the Edit button at the edge of the report) are set to include the income and expense categories that these transactions are in, as well as the date range that contains the transactions. Try setting the graph or report to include all categories, accounts, and all dates to see if that helps.
