Hi,

I am having trouble with the column widths in the register.

When I set them to the desired width and close the program, the next time I open Moneydance it resorts to its original width. I've searched the discussions and I am unable to locate a fix for this... Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Pascal

    Pascal,

I believe this is the result of a known issue with the register preferences. I am afraid that changes to the register preferences do not save unless you leave the register you are in. For example if you are in checking and you set the preference to two line mode or change the sort order and then save your data file and close MD, the next time you run MD you will see that the preferences were not saved. However if you leave the register by going to a different register or the home page after you change the sort order the preferences will be saved.

We realize this is frustrating and it will be fixed in build 754. If this doesn't resolve the issue would you please let me know (and include the version of Java you are running) so we can log the issue? Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,
