Lost finance file

My Moneydance finance file was stored on my Dropbox. The file is not longer there but the sync files are there and are current. The info on my mobile app is current. How can I sync my Moneydance with that sync file. It is connected to my Dropbox folder but doesn't sync automatically. Can I manually sync it?

It is not possible to restore the main data set from the mobile sync files. Those sync files only ever contain a small subset of the entire data set.
I understand that you used to have the main Moneydance data set stored in dropbox. Is that correct? If that is the case you can use dropbox to recover deleted files. See these instructions: https://www.dropbox.com/en/help/296
