Category Drop down menu does not scroll with mouse

I open the 'Category' drop down menu and if I then use the scroll wheel on my mouse, it drops me out of the list. I have to remember to use the up/down arrows on the box edge to move to the category I want. Very annoying!

    Hi d.fw,
    This issue has been attributed to the latest Java 1.6.0_22 update. The MD developers are aware of it and have stated that they are working on a resolution.
    The work-around is to position your mouse cursor anywhere over the scrollbar, you can then use the mouse wheel.
    Another option, for some, is to revert to an earlier version of Java. There are earlier versions of Java available at http://filehippo.com/
    It is my understanding however that reverting back to an earlier version of Java for some Mac OS users might not be possible.

    I am experiencing this as well.

    I can confirm that Java 1.6.0_23 exhibits the same behavior.

    Windows 7 x64 Enterprise

    Thanks for the workaround - guess maybe I'll roll back to a previous version of Java.
