If I try to login to help from I have no problem but if I try to login from it doesn't recognise me. Are these not functionally the same site? Why would one know who I am am but not the other?

This is indeed a mystery. They are both functionally exactly the same site. If I log into and then browse to I remain loged in. Do you get an error message? if so what is it? Is it possible that you have your browser incorrectly remembering your password on the site?

OK, here is a a short but hopefully interesting chronology.
(BTW this is on IE 8.0.6001.18702) I don't have my browser remember my password.

    1. go to help/infinitekind and login - works fine
    2. go to MD/help - still logged in
    3. click logout - still logged in
    4. exit and restart IE
    5. go to MD/help - not logged in
    6. login with same address and password - not logged in

This doesn't make any sense to me but I'll bet it has something to do with IE8.

The only difference between and is that in is embedded in a frame. I could imagine that IE8 has some new security feature that prevents loging into sites that are contained in frames. Currently you are the only person to report this problem. You can do everything you need to do with If others start reporting the problem I'll remove the frame.
