Downloading files to Investments

I have several CD's with ING Direct (which only allows me to download either QFX or OFX files). After I've successfully downloaded one of these files, and go to Import it into MD, it only shows a list of my Bank Accounts (and no Investment Accounts) to import the file into. I would like to be able to download the accrued interest into these accounts. How can this be achieved?

    Njj,

This is happening because your bank has "tagged" these files as bank type accounts, so Moneydance is trying to be helpful and limits the accounts you can import the file to to your bank accounts. We recognize that this is not ideal, and it will be changed in our next preview release. I've added you to the list of of people to notify as soon as this version is available.

In the meantime, the best option is to create a "dummy" bank account, import the file to that, and then use the "Batch Change" function to move the transactions from that account to your investment account.

I apologize for the inconvenience, and as I said before we'll get back to you soon with the new release. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,

Thanks Angie for your prompt and thorough response. Your suggestion worked great.
When is the next preview scheduled to be released?
