Moneydance will not appear on my screen
I've been using Moneydance for over a year without any problems. I ran a system cleanup yessterday and installed norton 360 which went through junk files, registry entries, etc. Today I ran the Moneydance file and I can see that moneydance is open in my taskbar but nothing moneydance related appears on my screen.
Windows 7 32 Ultimate.
I disabled Norton and no change.
I uninstalled the program and reinstalled with the latest file from
the website and no change.
I uninstalled the program, searched the registry for any money
dance items, delected the moneydance program, rebooted the computer
and reinstalled. No Change.
I uninstalled the program and uninstalled java, then reinstalled
the program with the java installer. no change.
What I don't understand is that I've removed all traces of
moneydance from my system that I can find hen uninstalling, but the
taskbar indicates that moneydance is opening the last open
moneydance file.

You may want to check to see if MD is running in minimized mode. Try this: right click on Moneydance in the tray and select Maximize.

That wasn't an option in the taskbar but I did change the properties to "maximized" in both the taskbar and shortcut with no change

Hi Chris,
If jbnyt's solution doesn't work, It is possible that MD is opening properly but is opening 'off-screen'. To attempt to bring the MD window back on-screen, click on the MD taskbar item, then hold down the Alt key. While holding down the Alt key, press and release the Spacebar, release the Alt key. Finally, press and release the letter 'm'. Now use the arrow keys on your keyboard to attempt to Move the window back on-screen.
As an addendum to jbnyt's suggestion, in Windows 7, hover over the item in the tray. You will see a thumbnail of the running program. Right click on the thumbnail and select Maximize.
