cannot download extensions

I have installed MD on my mac OSX and trying to install the updater extension. I get the message that says:

error: java.util.zipzipexception
error in opening zip file

the same occurs for any extension I try to install from the tools menu. Note that I have to setup MD to use a proxy server. I don't believe that this is the issue as outgoing connections to my bank work fine and I can download transactions with no problems.

   Run Moneydance and select Help->Console Window. Then reproduce the error and copy the entire contents of the console window to this discussion including the version information at the top.

   I actually got nothing in the console window. Here is the details:

   Starting Moneydance 2010r3 (751)
   Settings Folder: /Users/mikecampbell/.moneydance
   OS: Mac OS X 10.6.6 x86_64
   Java: 1.6.0_22 (Apple Inc.)

   However, I found a workaround. I have MD on a windows machine that had
   the updater extension installed. I just copied over the file and then
   installed the extension from file instead of internet and that works.
   Still curious why the internet option fails though.

   I just downloaded the updater from the web. it may have been a temporary issue with the host site.
