I am sorry I haven't replied sooner.

I believe that the problem is related to the permissions set on
your user folder.

Please try the instructions listed in this knowledge base

I have tried this trick but the folder doesn't exist. I have
also made
the finder able to view hidden folders and I can't find it this
way
either.

Any other options?

Cheers - Luke

agassisttag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/2720942009-08-13T20:50:52Z2009-08-13T20:50:52ZSaving preferences

Hi Luke

Try searching your computer for the file "config.dict" . If that
file does not exist I suggest uninstalling Moneydance and
installing it again. Be sure that you have write permission enabled
to you user folder when reinstalling.

I am sorry for the inconvenience this is causing you.

Sincerely
