Saving preferences
Hello, I have two questions. Is the saving preferenced disabled in the trial version, and if not why can't I save my preferences.
When I save the message below comes up.
Error saving preferences: /Users/luketaylor/.moneydance/config.dict (No such file or directory)
I tried the "go to folder" instructions to change the permissions, but the folder doesn't exist.
What can I do?

Hi Luke
I am sorry I haven't replied sooner.
I believe that the problem is related to the permissions set on your user folder.
Please try the instructions listed in this knowledge base article:

Hello Ben,
I have tried this trick but the folder doesn't exist. I have also made
the finder able to view hidden folders and I can't find it this way
either.
Any other options?
Cheers - Luke

Hi Luke
Try searching your computer for the file "config.dict" . If that file does not exist I suggest uninstalling Moneydance and installing it again. Be sure that you have write permission enabled to you user folder when reinstalling.
I am sorry for the inconvenience this is causing you.
Sincerely
Ben Spencer
