I was in MD and brought up the calculator (ctrl shift L). The calculation field was there (and worked fine) but the top of the window was cut off. Running Win 7 64bit, sp1, MD build 751 and Jave 1.6.0_16.
This is not a big deal.
I didn't see any previous posts on this issue.

Interesting, I haven't seen this behavior before. Could you please try updating your version of Java (I believe the most recent is 1.6.0_24) and see if that affects the issue?

Do let me know how it goes,

I did download Java update 24 and installed it. MD however still reports update 16 in the console window. I think I'm missing something.
    Thank you.

I reinstalled build 751 and it now reports Java update 24. No change with the calculator. I snipped a copy of the calculator window which is attached.
    Thanx, Al

    Hi Al,
Just FYI, you can resize the calculator window to resolve this issue.
One would think that there should be a default size for the calculator so as to avoid this issue but with all of the different screen sizes and resolution choices, I can't imagine that there is a one size that fits all.

Kevin - thank you very much. Really not smart of me to not try resizing.
    Works fine.
    Thanx, Al

I opened ticket 2887 in Trac June 2010 for this calculator issue. Maybe Jessica can attach the ticket to this discussion.

I went ahead and increased the default window size. The fix will be included in the next release.
