Printing little squares at the beginning of address lines on checks

I can put addresses on checks from the address book. The problem is that it is printing a little square as the first character on all but the first line of the address. I think it must have something to do with using the enter key to move down to the next line.

Is there a way around this? I printed the checks to an HP printer and the squares are there, and I printed the checks to a PDF with PDFCreator and they are there. I tried this on WIndows XP and on a different computer with Ubuntu Linux with the same results.

Thanks
Jack

I have tried several options to get rid of the little squares at the beginning of every line in the address printing on the checks. I tried different printers and fonts with the same results.

Does any one know if this is a common problem, or is it something that will be addressed with the next software release? For the time being, I am back to NOT printing the address on the checks.

    Hello Angie,

Now it is my turn to be sorry for the late response!
I am still having the problems with the little squares printing on each line of the address. (Not the name, but all subsequent lines of the address.)

    I am using build 641

The squares show up when printing to my printer or even when I print to a PDF file using PDFCreator.

    Thanks.
    Jack

    Hello Angie,

I installed the 643 Build. The check printing no longer prints those annoying little boxes.

Thanks for your help and support in resolving this issue.

    Jack
