Top menu disappears after a while on my mac.
I don't know how long it's been going on, but lately I've noticed that once I use the menu along the top of the screen, it then disappears. I must quit and reopen MD in order to reinstate it. What's the deal? Is this happening to anyone else?

Hi Gabriel
The problem has been caused by a bug that Apple introduced in their java updates. Unfortunately this affects version 5 and version 6 of Apples java. I understand that apple are aware of the problem and are working on a fix for it.
I am sorry for the inconvenience.
Sincerely
Ben Spencer

I have had the same problem with my iMac (OS 10.5.7, running Moneydance 640 and 641. When it happens, I go back to the main Moneydance display (showing all the accounts, reminders, etc), then select an account to download from, and after downloading from it, the menu reappears. Hope it works for you.
