Windows XP Pro:
Beginning with the Home Page window, clicking on "Root Account" drops down a list of accounts. About 50% of the time clicking on an account such as "checking" does nothing. It may take 2 clicks or 3 clicks before the account is actually selected. Unpredictable, but regularly happens on each use of MoneyDance.

    Hi Earl,
As a workaround, hit ENTER if the mouse click doesn't select the account.

You might try a different mouse too. At work, some of the machines have had problems where you can't successfully drag a window from one monitor to another. It turned out the switch under the left mouse button was worn and intermittent! Replacing the mouse solved the problem!

    Just an idea!

I have not been able to reproduce this problem, Can you tell me the build number of the version of Moneydance you are running? Run Moneydance and select Help->Console Window to see the version information.
