data loss
When trying to add a new account in moneydance 2005 running on
Mac10.4.11 I mistakenly clicked on new file instead of new
account.
Since then I have not since been able to get to my data current.
When I open any of the backup files available to me they only show
transactions up until the end of Dec 2009, despite being dated the
last few days. Accounts added since 2009 are listed but contain no
transactions, and all my regular scheduled entries have disappeared
from the calendar.
Help please!

Don't know if this is an option in MD2005 but see if you can do this: go to File > Open Recent and see if your original file name is listed. If so, just click on it and it should open that file.

You could also try using your computers search function to search for all files that end with the .md extension.
