GUI weirdness with Ubuntu Unity
Hi. I just started using Moneydance on an Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal) box, which uses the new Unity interface. Moneydance and Unity don't seem to be playing nicely together for me. If I un-maximize Moneydance, or just use it for 15 minutes or so, I frequently lose the window header bar and the resize handles at the four corners, not just for Moneydance but for all windows. This has never happened when Moneydance wasn't running.
The third time this happened today, I had just installed the Network Synchronizer extension, and hadn't yet closed the window with the list of available extensions. After this happened, there seemed to be no way to close the extensions list, so I just closed Moneydance.
I've now switched to the "Ubuntu Classic" UI, which is hideous, but Moneydance seems to work fine in that. However, I don't really want to switch interfaces each time I launch Moneydance, and I don't want to run Ubuntu Classic all the time either.
Just thought I'd report this. Thanks!

Hi Jon,
There are some known problems when using Java apps like Ubuntu with the new Unity interface. I believe it has something to do with the global menus in Ubuntu Unity. If you try disabling global menus for Moneydance, do it look any better? You can find instructions for doing so here:
