Reconciling Issue
I'm running an iMac, OS 10.6.6, and recently updated to Moneydance 2011 (791).
In reconciling my checkbook recently, I noticed that the left side of the screen shows the value zero for both the Uncleared and Cleared, whereas in the past it calculated the correct numbers.
It should be corrected in the next update.

New user, attempting first reconcile of imported checking account to printed bank statement. I understand how to enter beginning/ending balances but find no place to enter beginning/ending dates for this statement. Also, left pane of the reconcile window does not show all transactions for this statement period and it shows NO deposits in the right pane. I'm hopeful this is the app I've been looking for, so I appreciate any help --thanks!!

cjcoleman1: I suggest that you post your questions as a New Discussion in the Questions board. You aren't likely to get the answers you need in this thread because your question is buried in a different thread.

cjcoleman1,
To show deposits in the right pane make sure the window is maximized. (Window opens too small to show the deposit side of the window.)
Sorry I can't help with your other questions.

I just moved the question but find no way to move your kind reply plus a
second one posted here. I assumed this was the place to post, so long as the
discussion is still open --part of the learning curve . . . Thanks for
helping!

Thanks to paleolith, I've moved the question, tho' these kind responses still remain here. New to MD, I assumed this spot would function, so long as discussion is still open. Thanks also to jbnyt, once I max'd the window I found all debits and deposits. Beginning and ending dates turned into a moot issue, and recon worked just fine. Guess I'll go remove the question, now that I've reflected on the outcome. Appreciate your timely help, folks!!
