    Hi Ronnie,

First, Open Moneydance on your old machine and copy the License Key by clicking on Help then About Moneydance. Your License key will be displayed in the resulting window.

If you need to download the Moneydance installation file, you can get it here:
    http://moneydance.com/other
Just choose the right one for your operating system.

Next, copy your data file from the old machine to the new one. To do so, first locate the data file. Your data file will have a .md extension. For example My Moneydance.md.

Do a 'Search' of your old machine for *.md

The * is a wildcard and will help to find any file name that has a .md extention.

Once you've located your data file, you can either copy it to a USB drive, burn it to a CD / DVD or email it to yourself, then download it to your new machine.

You should then enter your license key into the new installation.

    HTH -Kevin N.
