Matching Reminder with Download Transaction

Hi,
I am using MD 2011 build 791.

I create Reminders that insert transactions on a particular date. For example, my truck payment is due on the 15th of the month. My reminder inserts a transcation 7 days prior to that so that I can ensure I have enough money in the bank when the 15th arrives.

I have my bank account setup so that it automatically withdraws the money from my account on the 15th.

When I do Download Transactions on the 15th, MD does not see the "Reminder Transaction" that was entered 7 day prior. It creates a new transaction with the payment amount and I have to delete the transaction that was created with the Reminder function.

Am I doing something wrong? Automatically Merge Downloaded Transactions is checked.

   Hi Bill

   If you click on the the transaction that you downloaded from the bank you will see the confirmation panel on the right for that transaction. You should see the transaction you entered manually under "Potential duplicates". Click the "merge" button.
