Downloaded transactions are not matching hand-entered one
When I hand enter a transaction and then Moneydance goes online and downloads that same transaction, it is adding it as a duplicate, rather than giving me an opportunity to match it like Quicken does.
How can I accomplish this?

Hi Phototristan,
Any downloaded txn should have a blue dot in the right hand margin of the 'Description' field. When you click on a 'blue dot' txn, a confirmation side bar should open on the right side of the register with an option to 'Merge' the downloaded txn with the manually entered one.

Thanks.
What is the difference between Confirm, Merge, and Similar Payee confirm?

Hi Phototristan,
Confirm, accepts the txn as downloaded.
Merge, merges the txn with an existing txn in the register.
Similar Payee, accepts the txn using previously entered data.

Thanks. It makes sense to me now.

Phototristan,
Kevin's advice is excellent, and you can find more details on the matching process in the Moneydance 2011 help documentation, which is located here. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,
