While I was reconcling my last bank statement, I'm not sure what went wrong but the start balance is all wrong. I want to undo the reconcile and redo it. I can't get the starting to change. And I want to take all the reconciled green dots off. Please help. I can't find a solution. thank you!

    Hi Rochelle,

Select (Highlight) the txns that you want to 'Unclear'. (remove the green dots)

To highlight multiple contiguous txns, click the first txn, hold down SHIFT then click the last txn.
    For non-contiguous txns, use CTRL.

When the desired txns are highlighted, right-click (CTRL-click for Macs) any txn.
From the resulting context menu, select 'Mark as Uncleared'.

As a personal aside, I choose the option to 'Mark Transactions as Cleared when Confirmed' from within the 'Preference' settings (Network tab).

My thinking is that if I download a txn, look it over and then confirm it, then there is little reason to revisit it again to reconcile it against a monthly statement.

If I'm ever in doubt of the accuracy of my current balance, I click on the 'Balance' in the lower right-hand corner of the register to confirm it with the 'Ledger Balance'.

    HTH -Kevin N.

THank you. I found something similar on possible answers and I figured
out how to take off the green dots and then I could start over. Thanks
    again!
