Register printing issues - MD 2011
When I print the main register in portrait layout, every fifth or sixth transaction doesn't print (a row appears without text); however if I switch the layout back to landscape, every transaction prints. Any ideas?

It might be that the transactions are not fitting on the page in portrait mode. Try reducing the printing font size. Select File->Preferences->Printing to set the font size.

Thanks, but I tried reducing the print size before I posted on the forum. I also connected the computer to two different printers without much luck.

Hi Gracie,
Could you go to Help->Console Window and then do the printing and send us a copy of what shows up in the console window? This may have some clues has to why this is happening.
Thanks,

Jon,
I didn't realize you had responded - sorry for the delay. Attached are scans of the files. I left the font on the default size. The two white space spaces (after 6/26 and 7/25) are two instances where there's a transaction there and it didn't print.

Hi Gracie,
It seems you are using an older version of Java, would you please upgrade to the latest version? I am hoping this will address the printing issue. Here is a link for downloading the latest version:

Jon,
Java was updated and the problem still exists. Any other ideas?

Hi Gracie,
If you could please download the program jedit. It is a text editor written in Java like Moneydance is. After you download it could you put a bit of text in it and print a page in portrait mode. Does it also have this error? This will help us figure out if the error is in Java or Moneydance.
Also if you could go to your console window again and just make sure that Moneydance is running the latest version of Java. Sometimes if you have both versions on your computer it may run off the older one.
Thanks,
