Moneydance does not quit properly on windows
Windows 8 -- I updated to Moneydance 2016 to alleviate chase.com issues. After that Moneydance occasionally refuses to quit. Ctrl+Q, File -> Quit, Alt+F4 -- nothing works. Task manager kills it. But using the task manager, the next time I open MD, the new transactions are downloaded but do not show. Reboot seems to fix this -but I do not want to reboot every time I want to quit Moneydance.

Open MD and try to close it, then send me your errlog.txt file? It should be located at:
C:\Users\\(yourusername)\\.moneydance\errlog.txt

Hi Shriram,
Can you try upgrading to the latest preview release of Moneydance from here - http://infinitekind.com/preview
and see if that fixes the issue that you're seeing? The latest preview version is 2015.8 build 1366.

Hello JEnny,
The problem went away when I removed the extensions (python interface,
quotes downloader) and then reinstalled them. Might have been a problem
with the extension version/compatibility as I recently updated the
Moneydance version.
You can close this issue,
Shriram
