Problem with export
Having a problem when I try to export from 2010r3 (751). If I select "File...Export", then choose format Tab Delimited, and then choose a specific account (for example, one bank), and then save the export, the resulting file has transactions for ALL accounts, not just the one I selected.
Is this expected behavior?

Hi Larry,
This is a bug we are aware of, I've attached the bug ticket to this thread.
I am sorry for the inconvenience, hopefully we can get it sorted out soon enough.
Sincerely,
Jon Hoover, Moneydance Support

I am having the same problem here. I want to export the transactions from just one account but it dumps everything.
I can see that the ticket for this is still open but I can't see any further details on it. Is there an ETA on this?

Hi Trevor,
Are you using the latest version of Moneydance, 2011r2? This feature appears to be working for me with that version.

Trevor,
Sadly I'm able to reproduce this bug in both our latest stable and internal testing builds, so it still exists. I don't have an ETA on the fix, but I have increased the severity rating of the bug so (hopefully) it will get attention soon. Happily, there is a fairly simple work-around. First, run a Transactions report for the desired account and data range. Then, click the "Save" button at the top right of the report window, and save the report in Tab delimited format.
I'm sorry we don't have a more immediate fix, but I hope this work-around helps you get the data you need. Thank you for your patience, and please let me know if I can be of further assistance,
Angie Rauscher

@Angie, Wow, sad to see that this bug still exists even in the newest version, but thank you for your honesty & help in getting it finally squashed.
@Trevor, I have been using the Moneydance Search and Replace extension (which allows for exports) as a workaround for a long time (works great!) and never even noticed that the bug has not been fixed.

Hi All,
Another option is to use the 'Transactions' report. You can save it as HTML, comma delimited, tab delimited. You can also use 'Copy to Clipboard' and Paste it to a spreadsheet.
