Currency/Security History
When entering a transaction using a second currency with MD 2017 the exchange rate is automatically placed in the Currency History. The reciprocal of the conversion rate is used which destroys calculation of net worth in reports and graphs.
In MD 2015 the conversion rate was not used to update the currency history. I like that it does but the reciprocal shouldn't be used.
Or . . . what am I missing?
Carl

Hi,
I really would like a response to this problem. It has been over two weeks and no response or resolution.
I had to purchase the 2017 license without testing since I had the 2015 version with many transactions. After purchasing I found that it is defective if one has multiple currencies and so had to go back to 2015.

Some issues around conversions have been addressed in a latter build:

Hi dwg,
I tried build 1591 and it did fix the problem when editing transactions but not when entering new transactions. Since I do more entering than editing the problem still remains.
There are always problems with new software and getting them corrected. However, there doesn't seem to be any active support from the developers. Little action to correct problems.

Hi Ian,
I am sure you have your hands full but do you have any word on the mixed currency problem being resolved? The problem is easily identified as any new transaction involving two different currencies updates the currency conversion factor by its reciprocal. EASILY FIXED. Any word on when this will be taken care of. It's been almost three months and I see this problem in many different threads here.
No problem if it looks like it will be a while to resolve BUT I would like to know if it really is planned for resolution.
Again, I appreciate YOUR work in trying to keep us happy. It's the lack of progress in resolving the numerous bugs that is frustrating. Especially this one since it is so simple.
So, when can we expect resolution of this problem?
Thanks.

Ian, can you let me know what is happening with the currency conversion problem? It's been well over four months.
Thanks
