MD online bill pay-- Wachovia vs. Wells Fargo
Like thousands of other former Wachovia customers, I have been force onto Wells Fargo's online banking system. From what I have seen so far, I don't much like it. At Wachovia, MD interfaced directly with their web-browser bill pay system. When payments were entered and uploaded through MD, you could immediately go to the Wachovia browser bill pay screen and see those MD-originated payments in the the list of pending payments. This allowed you to adjust payment dates or amounts of payments uploaded from MD using the browser bill pay function, if needed. Wells Fargo uses completely different systems for the browser-based online bill pay and their Quicken/MD online bill pay...and they do no communicate with each other. You cannot see any MD-originated payments on the WF browser screen.
I am looking for a bank (goodbye WF!) that will work with MD like Wachovia's bill pay system did...and quick! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Ken

RETRACTION--ending this thread.
The above post was based on misinformation given me by a Wells Fargo Quicken helpline person. MD payments DO SHOW UP on the WF bill pay browser screen...just the NEXT day, not immediately as they did with Wachovia.
