Chase and Zero Transactions downloaded

I installed MD last week as a move from Quicken. All went fine until three days later. Now when I download transactions, it tells me there are zero transactions to download. I know this is not true as I can see the undownloaded transactions at Chase and when I download into quicken they show as cleared. I pay for the direct connect and know that it must work as the first time it downloaded hundreds of unmatched transactions and I have paid bills online.

Very nervous to make the total switch if this will not work consistently.

MD 2012 Demo
Mac 10.6.8

I am thankful for any help you can provide.

I am a long time Chase customer.

There may not be any new transactions posted to the Direct Connect server at Chase yet. Over the weekend, there usually are no new transactions posted to Chase's Direct Connect server.

Quicken often times connects to Chase using a protocol known as Web Connect.

Do the posted transactions in question on Chase's web site have dates shown, or do they still say pending?

The posted transactions are cleared at chase and are cleared when I download them at quicken. I realize Chase if quirky, but this needs to be reliable for me to use.

    Thank you for the response,

    Debbie

In all the time that I have been using Moneydance with Chase, I have not had the problem that you have described.

What exact release of Moneydance are you using? There is no 2012 Demo of Moneydance. To obtain the exact release of Moneydance you will need to start Moneydance, goto Help, select Console Window, choose Copy to Clipboard, then paste the results into your response here.

Should look something like the following:
    Starting Moneydance 2011r2 (799)
    Settings Folder: /Users/jamesfalknor/.moneydance
OS: Mac OS X 10.5.8 ppc
    Java: 1.5.0_30 (Apple Inc.)

    James,

I will get that information tomorrow. Sorry for the confusion. It is the most current version of Moneydance that is Lion compatible. I am Mac OS X 10.7.2 Intel
    Updated Java for Lion.k

I am glad you have had no issues with Chase. I am hoping it was something at the bank that day. I would have caught during a reconcile just frustrating.

    James,

It turns out my Chase account was corrupted at their end. After two hours on the phone, they deleted my online accounts and recreated and activated them. All is working great now. A word to the wise when things don't seem right: tell the bank to deactivate your accounts and re activate them. It worked like a charm and next time would save me a lot of head ache.

    Debbie
