Bug in Forecaster extension
I am running Quicken and Moneydance side-by-side for a month or two to check that I can safely migrate from Quicken (which no longer works properly on Linux) to Moneydance.
The Forecaster extension, which is absolutely essential (and not yet good enough -- see Balances in Calendar) -- has an odd bug.
Try this:
- Add an entry on 1st November 2011 for any amount and make it repeating every 28 days.
- Refresh your screen (because of the bug where new entries do not display on the Reminders screen).
- On the Reminders screen, it correctly shows on Tuesdays 1st & 29th November, 27th December, and so on on every fourth Tuesday.
- Now run Extensions > Forecaster > Table. Notice that the the entry shows, bewilderingly, on Tuesday 1st, Wednesday 2nd and 29th November, 28th December, and so on on every fourth Wednesday.
Please fix this, as I cannot migrate to Moneydance without Forecaster.
Thank you.

Hi Paddy
The forecaster extension is not written by the Moneydance team it is written by a 3rd party. The developer of the extension discussed issues with the extension here:

I encourage your to copy your feedback to that thread.
