I attempted to reconcile my bank statement. All of my payments are entered. Under Deposits, there is nothing. Think this is the same problem Judy requested help with. I don't need to resize. All I need is for the Deposits that I entered in the register to show up for reconciliation.

Can you show me a screenshot of a deposit in your register that is not marked as cleared and a screen shot of the reconcile window not showing that transaction.

    Ben,

I don't know what you mean by sending you a screenshot of the requested items. What would I have to do to send you a screenshot?

When I tried to go to Reconcile in Moneydance just now, I could not access it. When I click on Account, Reconcile is in light grey so I can't open it. Also went to Help/Search and typed in Reconcile and can't access it.

I will be going to a meeting at 7:00 (MDT now is 6:24) I should return at 8:00 MDT.

    Ben,

In case you are wondering if I am an idiot. I am. The reason why I couldn't access Reconcile was because I was not in my bank account. Duh!

The original problem still exists. I took a picture of the screen to show that under Deposits, there are no amounts shown but I have entered them into the register.

    What should i do now?

I guess I really am an idiot. I thought I was only e-mailing Ben. Went to the discussion site and see the photo I sent. That was not intended for public viewing. How do I get rid of the whole discussion or at least the photo?

1st: You should never respond via e-mail, you should always respond via this support forum.

2nd: In your account register, can you verify whether you put the deposit amount under Payment or Deposit? For it does not appear that you put the payment amount under Deposit.

3rd: A screenshot is taken of your Desktop using certain keystroke commands. You don't use a camera to take a picture of the computer screen. In the photo, it appears that you are using Mac OSX.
Under Mac OSX, press down, at the same time, the Apple Symbol button (Command button) and Shift button while pressing down on the number 3 button. A file will appear on your Desktop titled Picture 1, next screenshot will be titled Picture 2, so forth and so on.

4th: It would be helpful, as Ben requested, to attach a screenshot of the account register showing the Deposit that you had entered.

A screenshot of the account register will look something like the attached file.

The picture was just random. I have several Deposits in my register all put under Deposit.

Posting a screenshot showing a Deposit in your account register would still be helpful.

You need to drag the bottom corner of the reconcile window and make it taller.

I have since deleted the picture you attached.

Thank you. So easy. Wish I would have thought of that.

    Thank you.
