I downloaded and installed the MD 2011r2 (build 803), entered my registration number, restarted MD and Help/About Moneydance still shows I'm running MD 2010r3 (757). I've upgraded before with no problems but can't remember how it was done.

I am running Linux Mint 11 Katya, java version 1.6.0_26, and have the Moneydance folder in my Home directory.

Thanks for any help,
Patti

Thanks Kevin. Is there any reason why I can't or shouldn't move the MD directory from /opt to /Home? It makes the backups so much easier if I don't have to run them as root.

Never mind. I just realized I can keep my data file in /Home and leave the programs files where they are.

    Thanks for the help.
