Date range in memorized report wrong
Hi,
I took the built in "Income and Expense" report in MoneyDance 2011
and modified to to report only particular categories and a custom
date range of 11/5/11 to 11/11/11. The report for one category
shows more than I expected to find and when I double click on that
amount, it brings up a report of all transactions in that category
from 11/4/11 to 11/11/11.
I think I may have entered the transactions from the 4th on the
5th, however I did accurately select the transaction tax date of
11/4- so they should not be showing up in the report. Is it
possible the report is using date entered rather than tax date? Any
other idea of why this might be happening or how to fix it?
This is a report I need to run weekly.
Thanks,
Neil

All reports use the "date" on the transaction rather than the "tax date" on the transaction.

I think I've just figured it out. When I double click on an subtotal amount in the report, it provides a listed filtered by that category, but not by the date range. In other words, the report is showing the correct amount and timeframe, but double clicking on it to open the detailed list shows everything in that category, not just the items in that date range.
