Have to "reset sync" every day for J.P. Morgan Chase Retirement Services
Each day, when I download accounts, my account from J.P. Morgan Chase Retirement Services gets the following error message:
There was an error communicating with your financial
institution. The details of this error are below.
Bank Name: J.P. Morgan Retirement Plan Services
The error code reported by the server was: 2020
Invalid date
I can resolve the issue by going to Online -> Set Up Online Banking --> Reset Sync. Then it downloads fine. But the next day, I have to go through the same routine. I don't have this problem with any of my other downloading accounts.
Thanks.
Wayne

Hi Wayne,
The problem you are experiencing is due regression in Moneydance 2011r1. We will fix it as soon as possible. In the meantime, if you revert to 2011r1, you should be able to connect without Reset Sync. You can download 2011r1 from our website at: http://moneydance.com/download/2011-791/
I'm sorry for the inconvenience. We will let you know once a fix has been published.

Hi Wayne,
I believe we may have fixed this issue in Moneydance, but I need folks to test it to be sure. If you're willing, could you please install build 806 of Moneydance 2011 and try your connection again? You can download the daily from our website at: http://moneydance.com/tmp/daily/installers/806/
Hopefully, this build will allow you to connect without the errors.

Hi Wayne,
I forgot to mention that, in order to test this fix, you'll need to reset your connection to the bank. I'm sending a file called remove_one_service.py that will help do that. Before proceeding, please back up your Moneydance file, just in case something goes wrong. So far, this hasn't caused any problems, but better safe than sorry!
To use the file, first save it to your computer and then follow these steps:
1) In Moneydance, click on the Extensions Menu and choose the Manage Extensions option.
2) From the list of available extensions, choose the python scripting interface extension, then click Install to download the extension and finish to complete the installation.
3) Close the Manage Extensions window.
4) Again, click the Extensions menu. This time, choose the Python Interface option.
5) In the python scripting window, click the read from file button and load the file from whereever you saved it. You will be asked to select which connection you want to clear. Choose your bank, and click OK. You'll get a confirmation message when the connection has been removed. Close the window when done.
6) Set up the connection to your bank like normal. Since all of your settings have been cleared, you should get the most recent connection information for your bank.

Jessica,
I followed all the steps and the download appeared to run smoothly. But the
acid test will be if the download runs tomorrow without having to reset the
sync. I will let you know.

Jessica,
Good news, it appears that the fix has worked, I was able to update this
account without resetting the sync. Thanks.
