Merge not available?

Does anyone know why the option to merge might not be showing up?
Please see the attached image. I just installed MoneyDance. My balance is incorrect, and apparently I have to dig through my statements through November to find the errors. I found one, it's a duplicate, but I can't merge it.
I've seen this article: http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/getting-started-2/getting-started-online-banking-and-bill-pay. But it seems to assume Merge will show up. The only option I have is Confirm.
Any help is appreciated, I just want to get my balance correct so I can begin actually using the software.... thank you!

I think merge will only let you merge with transactions that have already been confirmed. I suggest confirming the first transaction then click on the one below it and you should be given the option to merge it with the one you just confirmed.
