clearing recents
I have just upgraded to Moneydance 2017 and was hoping that this would have been added as I continually get incorrect suggestions for categories when confirming bank transactions.
Is there any way that I can resolve this? I don't want ti archive and start anew,

Hi,
If these incorrect categories you're being suggested are from older transactions, you should navigate to File --> Preferences --> Network (as seen here). At the bottom of this window you can see 'Only match transactions when they are at most X days apart' - Can you try lowering this number to see if this has any effect when you're confirming your data?

Thanks, I'll try that. I suppose that as time goes on I can increase the period as long as I don't let it extend into the time when there were errors.
Shouldn't I have got an email that there was a reply to my post?

Hi,
Sorry you didn't get an email reply, it should have been sent to - [email blocked] It's possible the email may have gone to your spam/junk folder.
You can amend the date within preferences each time you confirm, but we'd always recommend restarting Moneydance after making a change to the preferences settings, to ensure they have taken full effect.
