Attempting to try out MoneyDance for Mac, cannot import Quicken Data
I am able to choose my data file, but shortly into the process, I get an error message: "Error reading file: java.io.FileNotFoundException..."
I saw the list of instructions for converting the Quicken data to MoneyDance, but it looks pretty involved and laborious. Don't I already have a QIF file if I'm using Quicken?

Hi Donnie
I think what is happening here is that you are trying to import your quicken data file in the propietart format. Quicken does not use QIF files to store data by default. It uses a propietary file format that cannot be read by other software. In order to import your quicken data into Moneydance you must first export it to a QIF file.
