Moneydance is working just fine, but on Windows, my moneydance file that I migrated from Mac looks like a standard Windows folder. Is this a problem and if so, how can I get it to look like a Moneydance icon?

Also, I store my Moneydance file in my "Documents" folder. However, there was a .moneydance folder created in C:\Users\myusername. I'd really rather this folder not exist here. If I delete it (since my Moneydance file isn't stored here), Moneydance acts as if it's a new installation and recreates the folder. Any way to move this folder into my "Documents" folder?

No it is not a problem that it looks like a standard Windows Folder/directory that is what it is. Windows does not have the concept of bundles so your moneydance data is a combination of directories and files.

While you can store your data anywhere, Moneydance stores thing like its configuration file in a defined location this cannot be changed.
