Help. What happened to my budget limits when displayed on my home page?

For example: when editing my budget under Tools / Budget Manager, the value I've entered under Amount is $150.00 for Automobile:Fuel. However when displayed on my home page (via Budget Bars on my home page) the amount above the bar shows as $48.39 with $28.04 shown within the bar (amount spent so far this month). Where did the $48.39 come from and where is my $150 limit? See attachment.

Thanks :-D

With only a limited screenshot It is not possible to make a clear diagnosis.

I suspect that the problem is that either the date range is incorrect on the budget line item or perhaps have the date range on the budget bars set to something other than this month.

    Thanks for your response Ben.
    I really appreciate it. :-D

I'm including some additional info that hopefully will make it clearer.
I've created a Test Budget as shown below and called it "Test Budget" just for purposes of this discussion.
The Categories, of course, are actual categories entered in my MoneyDance.

As, an example, as can be seen, I've specified the maximum amounts per month for Fuel to be $150, Cell Phone to be $100 and Groceries to be $800, respectively.
The dates are to cover the entire year of 2012, to be displayed based on a monthly expenditure.

However, when I add this budget to my home page (via Preferences/Home Page) the following is displayed.

Just to pick Cell Phone as an example, the $81.19 for Cell Phone is the correct amount I've spent so far this month. The $48.39 is confusing. I don't know where this value comes from. I'd think it should be displayed as the maximum amount entered in my budget which is $150 as can be seen in the previous screenshot of the associated budget.

Perhaps I've not set up my budget correctly.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks again Ben.

    Hi Mike,
As Ben suspected in his prior post, set the date range on the Home Page to 'This Month'.
You currently have it set to 'Month to Date'. Click the double facing arrows next to the drop-down list situated just above your 'Cell Phone' budget bar.

    Excellent! ! ! 

    So simple. 

Every time I stared at the text at the double-facing arrows and didn't really notice it. 

    Thanks so much.
