After exporting the .qif file to my local pc, I open my Checking Account on Moneydance. Select File, Import, Quicken qif. The Browse window opens, I select the file. The 'Import QIF File' window opens and the path to my file is in the "from Qif File" window.
Import to (Existing Account: Checking)
Source: Downloaded File

Hit OK. Nothing happens. Nothing is imported. I have tried several times. Please help.

    Hi Robin,
On the 'Import QIF File' from, are the Date Format, Decimal Character and Currency correct?
Is 'Import Account Info' checked? If so, un-check it.
If you still experience this issue, try opening the .QIF file in question with a simple word processor to make sure that there is actual data in the file.

Can you select Help->Console Window... then try and import the file. Copy and paste any resulting console output to this discussion.

Good advice. Looks like the data in the .qif file is not what it should be. (The .csf file i downloaded looks good.) Let me see if I can a decent .gif.

ok...SIGH, I only tried it like 60 times(!!!) but now I know the trick to open the .qif in notepad to make sure there is valid data.

I re-exported, validated file, and it uploaded just fine. Thanks Ben and Kevin.
