Two Line Mode
I noticed twice now that after leaving MD in single line mode that the application reverted to two line mode. Is there a resolution to this nuisance?

Hi Kyle,
Some users have reported success in getting single line mode to 'stick' by first clicking to the 'Home Page' before closing MD.

Thanks for sharing a workaround. I'll try it out.

Tried the work around but it doesn't stick permanently. It will work for a while then go back to two line and I have yet to find a way to get the split window into single line mode. This is extremely annoying. Is there and estimated date for an update to address this issue?

Hi,
We currently do not have an estimate as to when this will be fixed. For a while we were unable to reproduce the problem, but recently we figured out what was necessary to reproduce it, so this will make it more likely that it is addressed soon.
Please let us know if you have any more questions.
Sincerely,
Jon Hoover, Moneydance Support

Hi Bash,
Kevin N and I have been reporting this for a couple of years now. Just when you think its been fixed it fails. Just like the epic sync issues to your iOS device.
That said, I am a happy MD user for 3+ years now and have just learnt how to work around these and other inconveniences until they become high priority on the developers to-fix list. I just wish as a company they could hit a target date they communicate - this is the main frustration of this user.
Rgds,
ChrisN

Hi All,
We've (finally, hopefully) fixed this bug in the internal development build of Moneydance, and the fix will be in the next version. I don't have a timeline for the release yet, but we'll let you know as soon as it's out.

Woohoo!
Any news on when we can add Memo notes on different lines on splits?

Chris,
No notes on that, but I'm a big proponent of it and am nagging our developer. This thread is the main input/voting thread- could you post there to give your input? You'll then be automatically updated when there's any news on the feature.

Hi All,
The 2012 release of Moneydance contains this bug fix. You can download 2012 from our website at: http://infinitekind.com/downloads
One warning though: If you are using Dropbox or another online storage system to share your data file, I would suggest sticking with 2011 for now, as Dropbox sharing is temporarily disabled in MD 2012.
