While importing from a QIF
One of my account used to be a "Liability" and now is "Bank
Account".
Where can I change its "Nature", its "type".
All my transactions ended up with "ATM withdraw", and the way
they used to be categorized.
My categories were imported... but unused??
Let me know.
Thanks,

Hi fcaw123,
I'll assume that the QIF file that was imported was exported from Quicken. Correct?
Did you follow these instructions in the Knowledge base?

Look to this Knowledge base article to solve the issue of all Categories importing as 'ATM withdraw'.

You can not change the 'type' of an Account per se. You'll need to create the desired Account type and then move the txns from the old Account to the new one through the use of 'Batch Change'. Look to the following Knowledge base article for details.
http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/frequently-asked-questions-2/what-d...
Make sure that you have a recent backup or a copy of your data file before using 'Batch Change'. 'Batch Change' is a powerful tool and things can get ugly in a hurry if a mistake is made with multiple txns selected.
