Unable to load moneydance after downloading latest Java for Max OS X 10.5 Update 4
HELP!
Ever since downloading and installing the latest Java for Max OS X 10.5 Update 4, Moneydance will not load.
I get a couple of error messages:
Error loading extension:
java.land.ExceptionInitializerError
Error lo
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError
could not initialize class
com.moneydance.app.md.controller.Util
I guess this means that the new java installation is looking elsewhere for these classes - but how to change it back?

Stephen,
Have you tried deleting the Moneydance App and re-installing?
DId you run the updating using Mac OS X's built in Software Update app or did you download an installer from apple.com?
Sincerely,
Brian Adler

(1) My name is Bill (2) I have no earthly idea what you are describing other than re-installing (which I did twice) the major issue is that Wells Fargo cannot process any importing of my bank data. (3) All attempts to use my bank password and user ID failed, even though these are correct (from the banks standpoint) the do not work in this software. (4) The Tech Assistance number on my email rings at a sales office with a lady who has no idea how the application works, is also a big problem for me, all she said was, "don't worry, he will refund your money". At this point, that is all I want.
I am not an IT guy, I have worked with online financial management tools (quicken and MS Money) but they do not exist as they did before, they do not perform simple checking account register functions, that is all I am looking for.

Bill,
I am very sorry both for the delay and the cryptic email. Somehow your inquiry has been mixed with another user's (by a bug in our support software) who has a completely different problem. You can easily get Moneydance to work with Wells Fargo. It is only necessary that you contact Wells Fargo and ask them to enable your account for "Direct Connect". It is the same protocol as if you were using Quicken. And it may be necessary to describe what you want as if you were using Quicken since many Wells Fargo support agents are not familiar with Moneydance. But if at this point you simply want a refund, please let me know and I will refund your purchase right away.
Sincerely,
Brian Adler
