    Hello,

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "reindex my data file." Can you try using a different term, or explain in more detail?

For backups, go to File -> Preferences from the menu bar (Moneydance -> Preferences on a Mac), and click on the backups tab. Here you can specify the number of backups made, and their save location.

Usually Yellow colored items are dated in the future.
