Printing
When I try to print out any report, the program freezes up and I have to force quit the application and re open the program. It does not allow me to print.

Hi Michael,
I'm sorry to hear about the issues you've encountered. Unfortunately we are aware of an issue with printing when using OS Sierra.
Unfortunately we haven't got to the bottom of this issue yet, but we're working to find a resolution as quickly as we can. I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused, and understand the printing function is essential for many of our customers. The relevant ticket has been assigned to this thread, so we'll notify you as soon as we have a fix for this problem.
After leaving Moneydance for some time, the print dialog box will eventually appear, allowing you to print. However, we understand this is not an ideal workaround.
If you need to print a report, you can select 'Save' instead of 'Print'. Then save the report as an HTML file to your local system (be sure to retain the .html file extension when naming the report)
You can then open the HTML report in a browser, word processor or spreadsheet and print the report from there.
Unfortunately, this does not allow you to print checks.

It is now July 30 and this is still not working for me.
I have found Moneydance very buggy this past year and am at the point of looking for something else.
Any idea when this will be fixed?

I have had the same problem. I have had to save the reports to my desktop, select all and copy in text preview the put it in a word document. It is a couple extra steps but have been able to work with it. It will be nice when this bug is fixed.

Hi All,
We have some positive news to share. Apple have made a change at their end, which has helped to resolve the ongoing sandbox issues, and will allow printing when using High Sierra (OS X 10.13). This operating system was scheduled for public release yesterday (Sept 25th) and should be available now.
By upgrading to High Sierra, this should resolve all printing capabilities and functions - no matter the version of Moneydance you are running. There should be no need to upgrade the Moneydance program to resolve these ongoing problems.
We are still continuing to work on a fix for those using Sierra 10.12. We are hopeful that Apple will also release an update for this OS, with the same fix they have applied in High Sierra 10.13.
