I used Quicken until recently and have no experience with any other bookkeeping program. I purchased Money Dance because it did not let me transfer quickly my Quicken tiles to MD. Other programs required manual inputting of my old files.
In Quicken all transactions were in order. I can't imaging any reason for them to be out of order.
Yet my Money Dance transactions follow no logical order. Transactions from 2013 are mixed in with ones from 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2016.
That makes no sense at all.
How do I make all the transactions appear in chronological order?
Thanks for your help.
Al

    Hi Al,

    Try this,

Right-click (CTRL-click for Mac) any transaction in the register.
From the resulting context menu, select Sort By > Date

Alternately, click in the header row of the register in the Date column. click again to toggle between ascending and descending order.
