after upgrading to moneydance4, I can't get into my accounts
I sent this question before but cannot find it anywhere. I desparately need help woth moneydance.
I upgraded to Sietra and fount that I could not print reports. I then upgraded to moneydance4. Now I cannot get the moneydance top or side menus to show up and I cannot access my accounts.

I just upgraded again ($24.96), this time to the 2017 version.....license key:B22902098-9C52B774. I am still having the same problem. Please help.

I just paid $24.95 tio upgrade to the 2017 version and I am still having the same problem. My new license key is B22902098-9C52B774

There are known problems printing on Sierra.
The only workaround at the moment for reports is to save as a HTML file and use another application print it. Many users report that the print dialog does show up after a very long wait.

The printing problem was a minor problem. Now I have a MUCH bigger problem after paying for and upgrading to moneydance, 2017 version. I can't get into any of my records...I can't find my back up's and my taxes are due...It's a horrible scary mess.

I understand your desperation to get things working again, but for support to help you, you need to details the chain of events. What version of Moneydance were you running when everything was working? You say you upgraded to moneydance4, do you mean 2014? If so did it work? Then you seem to have upgraded to 2017?
Your description of these event needs clarifying and contain more detail, remember support didn’t witness the chain of events which created the problem and can only help you based on the information you provide.

Thanks for your help. This problem happened AFTER I upgraded from Moneydance (which I upgraded successfully last year) to Moneydance4. I don't know anything else about those upgrades. I upgraded to moneydance4 because of the problem with printing after upgrading my OS with Mac Sierra and reading the info on your download page, I assumed it would correct the printing problem. However, a much worse problem happened after this upgrading to Moneydance4. Now, when I open moneydance, all I get is the top menu bar and the only word in that menu is menu is in that is the word 'Moneydance'. In fact. it is just my OS telling me that I have opend Moneydance but moneydance is really showing me nothing.. When I click on the word Moneydance at the top, a 'drop-down' menu appears but nothing shows that gets me to my accounts. Please see enclosed screen shot.
Then I found another upgrade, Moneydance 2017 which I purchased and hoped would solve the problem but it didn't . The same problem is occurring.
I don't know how else to describe this problem. I hope it is enough for you to understand what the problem is. If you have specific questions, I will do my bets to answer them.

I'm not a Mac user so this is a bit of a guess but you don't happen to have a little bar with red/yellow/green dots, in a corner of your screen do you?
If you do it means that Moneydance has been minimized - why Apple would have a minimized app but its title bar accessible baffles me.
If this is the situation you can work this by dragging the edge of the minimised window to increase the size and reveal your data.
